Jay-Z has officially secured the headlining slot for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, setting the stage for a February 14, 2027, performance at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. As the partner responsible for producing the event since 2019 through his company Roc Nation, Jay-Z holds the final say on the musical lineup, a role he is exercising by booking himself for the main set.
Beyonce emerges as the most likely candidate for a guest appearance, given their marriage since 2018 and extensive musical history. The couple has released multiple chart-toppers, including "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love," and have toured together extensively. Beyonce has performed on NFL stages before, including the 2016 halftime show and the 2024 Christmas Day game in Houston.
Rihanna represents another strong possibility, having started her career under Jay-Z’s guidance at Def Jam Records before moving to Roc Nation in 2010. Their collaborations include "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Recently, Rihanna made a surprise appearance at a Jay-Z concert at Yankee Stadium, reinforcing the connection between the two artists. She also headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.
The list of potential guests includes Blu Ivy Carter, the eldest child of Jay-Z and Beyonce. She has already danced during NFL-related events, such as her mother’s 2024 halftime performance and the Cowboy Carter tour. Her presence would add a familial element to the show, a dynamic often seen in high-profile concerts where family members support the headliner.
Eminem is the final name frequently cited in discussions about the lineup. The two rappers collaborated on the track "Renegade" for The Blueprint and recently shared a stage during Jay-Z’s current tour. Eminem brings prior NFL experience to the table, having served as a special guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime performance.
While the identity of the two teams playing in the Super Bowl remains unknown until the final weekend of January, the musical component is now locked in. The selection of guests will likely be announced in the coming months, with each of the four candidates possessing a verified track record of collaboration and stage experience with Jay-Z.
