Israeli forces demolished two homes in the Palestinian West Bank village of Beita on Wednesday, the military said. The properties belonged to Zakariya Muhammad Abd Daoud and Ibrahim Abd al-Karim Abd Daoud, whom Israel describes as terrorists.

According to the account, the two men carried out three attacks using explosive devices across 2024 and 2025. Israeli soldiers were wounded in two of those incidents.

The demolitions were part of a wider operation that covered several West Bank villages and the city of Nablus. During the raids, soldiers from the Duvdevan Unit arrested a man accused of trafficking explosives and weapons and of working to put them in the hands of militants.

Forces also detained a wanted individual suspected of involvement in manufacturing weapons and explosives, arms trafficking and planning attacks.

The military said separately on Wednesday that it had pulled down 12 structures it described as terrorist monuments in the West Bank this week, as part of a continuing campaign to remove such sites. Over the course of that operation, troops searched about 300 locations and arrested eight wanted people. They also found and seized weapons, including a hunting rifle, a handgun and ammunition.

In a further statement, the military said its soldiers were continuing counterterrorism efforts in the Judea region of the West Bank after Friday's attack near Hebron, in which two Israeli soldiers were killed.

In the Hebron area, forces confiscated an M16 rifle, knives, a vest and a replica gun. They arrested six suspects, one of whom has ties to Hamas, according to the military. It said the suspects were allegedly involved in terrorist activity, including planning and facilitating attacks.
