US President Donald Trump issued a second endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday evening. The post appeared on Truth Social just days before Israel’s general election. Trump asked voters to consider Netanyahu’s record as they prepare to cast ballots.

In the message, Trump described Netanyahu as an “outstanding Warrior Prime Minister.” He cited Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury as evidence of a productive partnership between the two leaders. The president stated that the two men had been “winning together.”

The endorsement included a direct appeal to the electorate. “Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister; we have to finish the job that we started!” Trump wrote. The statement explicitly urged voters to support the incumbent to complete ongoing strategic objectives.

The post followed reports that Netanyahu had intensified efforts to secure public backing from Washington. Two American sources told The Jerusalem Post that Netanyahu and his allies within the US administration were increasing pressure for new statements of support. One source described the prime minister’s behavior as showing signs of political desperation.

Additional details emerged from an earlier report by Axios. That account stated that Netanyahu and Trump spoke twice in the three days preceding the post. Netanyahu reportedly suggested specific wording for the endorsements. He also proposed that Trump speak with Israeli journalists to reinforce his support for the prime minister.

Trump’s message included a warning regarding a potential change in government. “If Israel has the wrong leader, meaning anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this job itself, and I’m not inclined to do that,” he wrote. The Jerusalem Post noted that the remark referred to the current confrontation with Iran.

The endorsement arrives as voters prepare for the upcoming election. The statement combines praise for Netanyahu’s leadership with a call for his re-election. It also outlines the potential diplomatic consequences of electing a rival candidate.
